3 Weeks old

Here she is at 3 weeks old! She is getting so big at well over 8 lbs now. As you can tell by her ample cheeks, she doesn't miss a meal!

 She is really becoming more and more alert, opening her eyes and really looking at her surroundings. I know it's still too early for real smiles yet, but she is a happy girl giving mommy little smiles when she's sleeping or just after she eats. So far she still has some light brown hair and her eyes are looking brown with some definite green tints. 

I can't really tell who she is looking like yet, but she does have the Kirkland's toes and I think my cheeks.  Her Gran sent some pictures of Dustin when he was a newborn and she does look a lot like him...I wonder who she'll take after when she gets big.  What do you guys think?

One of her favorite things to do is to swing on the glider on our front porch with her daddy. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous so it's so nice and relaxing to feel the breeze as she sleeps so sweetly.

Speaking of sleeping...she's really good at it like her mommy! The little angel has been giving us a five our nap at night! I've heard this isn't the norm for newborns so we're so grateful to get a nice block of rest too.
