As before, we had the both the Airstream and our dogs with us. We setup the Airstream on my parent's property literally on the west bank of the Mississippi River between Addis and Brusly, Louisiana. Here, we hooked up the RV to electricity, water, and sewer, and had two space heaters cranking. We were really comfortable and self sufficient in it, actually!
On the first night, my dad brought over a portable iron fire pit and we sat around and made smores (Kim's favorite).
Our nephew, Gabe absolutely loves playing with Tiger :-)
And I think his brother Luke might favor Aggie, who's giving him a kiss right here.
This is a good night, in my book... Hanging out with family at Christmas time, sitting around a campfire. Good times :-)
Gabe absolutely insisted on taking Tiger and Aggie for a walk, every few minutes. I'm not sure who ended up walking who, as I think each of the dogs doubled Gabe's weight :-)

We gave Gabe, Luke, and Jake a complete set of camping gear (most of it gently used on my travels and hiking adventures around 5 continents).
And here's me and Mom. She's always happy when she has all of her kids home for the holidays!
Michael cooked a turkey in an greaseless infrared turkey fryer, which was absolutely delicious. He and Lindsy gave me the same device for my Christmas present!
Gabe loved his puppy blanket too :-)
So that meal was at Lindsy's on Christmas Eve... Of course, we had dinner at Mom and Dad's house on Christmas day.
Speaking of Mom and Dad, here they are, enjoying Christmas dinner, with a fire going in the fireplace behind them.
Kim gave me a bottle of Glenmorangie single malt scotch whisky, which I shared with my Dad, and my brothers-in-law, Michael and Jeremy.
Paw Paw just loves hanging out with his 4 grandsons. Here's Paw and Price.
And just like his cousins, Price adores Tiger and Aggie Too :-)
Aggie is definitely a lover, not a hater.
