Bath time, car rides, and more -- Tiger and Aggie

We spent a few days at Uncle Carter and Aunt Sophie's house and managed to not get into trouble with Lulu, the house bird, or the neighborhood cat that likes to sneak into the backyard. We were pretty good and kept Sophie company while she worked during the day. Back at home we went for a nice run around the lake, dragging Corey along the whole way but we think it was good for him. We were very interested in other dogs too and were very well behaved. We also saw some very tasty ducks in our path during this morning's walk. One of the locals was feeding them but they were pretty quick to jump back to safety in the water when they saw us pick up our trot.

After all of our playing around this week, we got a bath. We didn't so much like the hose but held pretty still for most of the washing. Afterwards, Alissa brushed our coats as we laid out like kings on the kitchen floor; we looked gorgeous I must say. :)

Since we can't seem to help stealing socks from laundry baskets, suitcases, etc., Corey made us some nice "toys" from old socks and we went nuts for them! Unfortunately, they turned out to be a little less durable than some toys, lasting only about 5 minutes. But we still carry around the shrapnel left over from our ravaging of the socks.

Lastly, we were all set for a car ride this evening to spend a few days with Carter and Sophie again. As the trunk was being loaded with our kennels and golf clubs, we decided it was best to enter the car from the trunk...and promptly did so; we just couldn't wait to go for a ride I guess. Since it was a tight fit, it was kind of hard to get back out so they had to fold down the back seat so we could crawl through to get inside of the actual car. Corey says we earned new nicknames, Luke and Bo Duke, since they didn't use doors too much either. :)
