We enjoyed a movie night in a huge mess of blankets, but I guess it was too comfortable because I think we crashed out once again. But we were nice and rejuvenated for our first walk in the new neighborhood. We saw lots of new people, some other doggies, some kids.... and some ducks; we wanted to get those ducks soooo bad but we were on our leashes. Next time ducks...next time! We also got some new toys which we like, but we also like to discover socks and towels around the house that we can drag out and hide too.
This morning we went on our first car ride to the local coffee shop. We had the whole patio to ourselves so we could wander around and check things out. The nice lady that works there brought us out some water and we sat and watched all the people walk by on the nearby trail. We even got to go walk on the trail ourselves, since we promised not to go chase all those juicy looking birds and ducks everywhere.
Tonight we took a little road trip to spend a few nights in a remote campsite (Carter and Sophie's house) while our counselors are out of town. They have a huge yard...and a little green bird that we'll try our best to get along with. We're seeing lots of new stuff, getting some good exercise, and having a really great time. We'll write more later as our adventures continue.
