...is breakfast! It took me longer to learn this than perhaps it should have. But thankfully I've been in the know for a few years now. And now you are too, in case we find ourselves at your house before this trip is over!
In a related note, Kim loves Toronto. Why? Because that's where we started our day today with breakfast. Crepes, to be exact. I had a spinach (gasp?!?), feta, aioli, and tobasco crepe to start. Kim countered with a simpler spinach-and-feta.
And we split a dilectable banana, dark chocolate, walnut, and caramel sweet crepe for dessert. Big smiles.
Today is going to be a good day, as we cross Ontario into Quebec, en route to Montreal later tonight.

ReplyDeleteBTW, last time we were in Portland, Kim found a place called "Mother's Bistro and Bar", and was impressed with their breakfast offering... How does that measure up? :-)
