Marlborough, MA with Stefan and Laurie

After leaving the Salisbury's and Parker's Maple Barn in New Hampshire, Kim dropped me off at the Canonical office in Lexington, MA, where I worked for the day. I caught up with some colleagues and checked out the remodeled office.

While I was at the office, Kim drove around Lexington and Concord -- the birthplace of the American Revolution. Kim toured Louisa May Alcott's house and did various other cutesy things :-)

Then we headed to Marlborough, MA where we spent one short night with Stefan and Laurie. I met Stephan almost 10 years ago rock climbing on the Barton Greenbelt in Austin at the Seismic Wall. We've always kept in touch, and it's great to see these guys when I'm in the Boston area, and when they're down in Austin for SxSW every year.

I went for a run on Friday night, which felt good to sweat off the long work week. After a shower, we walked down to the local Thai restaurant. We walked back after dark, where we passed someone walking a borzoi, which is a really strange, but beautiful Russian wolf hound.

We called it an easy night, watching Layer Cake in Bluray on Stefan's giant projector and 7.1 sound. That was fun :-)

We got up fairly early, and Stefan cooked us breakfast and we guzzled multiple espresso shots from his Nespresso maker. And then we packed up and headed toward Springfield, MA and the Basketball Hall of Fame.
