Having left Portland in the evening, we drove until dark, where we stopped for the night at a Best Western in Oakridge, OR. (Yes, I had an old Oakridge Boys song stuck in my head all night long.) On our way in, we spotted this neat covered bridge, which was lit up colorfully at night. I set up a tripod and the SLR. This picture used a 30 second long shutter. I'm really pleased with how well the light and color turned out.
I also snapped a shot of some strange looking thistles covered with spiders and cobwebs. The dots you see are spiders. Cool!
