We arrived back home in Austin around 4pm, Saturday October 23, 2010. But, I was on a plane at 11am the following day, Sunday October 24, 2010. Less than 24 hours at home.
So I left Kim back in Austin to get the house in order and get settled in, while I traveled to Orlando, Florida for a week of the Ubuntu Developer Summit. On the road again...
It was a long week of busy work, and I only took one single picture all week long in Orlando, with my phone, actually :-)
The next Ubuntu release is code named "Natty Narwhal", and I thought I'd introduce my European friends what the word "Natty" usually means around here.
So I worked Monday - Friday, and then left Orlando on Friday night, flying down to Miami with my friend Mathias. That was the flight where I met my childhood hero, Andre Dawson.
In Miami, we met up with Kim and Mathias' girlfriend, Patricia (who hosted us when we were in Montreal). We drove down to Key West, Florida for the weekend. More about that in the next post ;-)
