Mud Bowl 2010

Well, it's been pretty rainy here in the Big D lately which means it's been hard to exert the abundance of energy we always seem to have; we've been longing to stretch our legs.

We finally caught a bit of a break in the weather and headed to a dog park that just opened a few months ago. They have a section for small dogs and one for us, the Big Dogs. :)

Despite the break in the rain, the grounds were nearly a swamp but we took off full bore making a thorough mess of our coats.

While we've made lots of new 2-legged, upright friends in Dallas, we got the chance to meet some fellow, furry, four-legged friends too.

There was Nikita, a blue-eyed Siberian Husky, Pepper, a Corgi/German Shepherd mix, and a whole bunch of others active buddies; we were the biggest puppies but we behaved ourselves very well. They had water, tennis balls, and place to wash off. But regardless, to our dismay, we were given a nice bath when we got back home.
